About the Gallery

Established in 1983, the gallery, a small intimate space, is an informal place for art enthusiasts, collectors and first time buyers to browse through an exciting collection of works and is visited regularly by important British curators and corporate collectors. We participate in the major British art fairs.

The large stock includes prominent 19th and 20th century British artists, the Glasgow School, the Scottish Colourists, 20th century Scottish masters, the Bloomsbury Group, the St Ives School and Modern British artists.

Artists include: James Pryde; George Leslie Hunter; John Craxton; Roger Fry; JD Fergusson; Joan Eardley; Anne Redpath; Matthew Smith; Keith Vaughan; Josef Herman; Alexander Mann; Stanley Spencer.

We have a strong, friendly relationship with the artist Tom Shanks, having great admiration for his work, and respect for him as an artist. These are the reasons we are so pleased to be having this exhibition, and it is these qualities which make representing him so pleasurable. The whole thing is a joy.
